Walgreen's Walk-in Clinics

Belton Regional Medical Center has partnered with Walgreen's Healthcare Clinic to provide coordinated and expanded healthcare services for area residents, and improve access to high-quality, convenient points of care - especially after-hours, weekends and holidays. Belton Regional Medical Center and our partners deliver a wide range of care access options.

Healthcare Clinics at select Walgreen's locations offer board-certified licensed Family Nurse Practitioners who provide healthcare services for patients 18 months and older, including treatment for minor illnesses, injuries and skin conditions, writing and dispensing prescriptions, giving immunizations, conducting health screenings and testing.

Our relationship with Walgreens provides the opportunity to offer a seamless and positive experience for our patients who are treated at the Healthcare Clinics locations. Following a patient visit, the care provider will send a visit summary to the patient's primary care physician and refer the patient back to the primary physician for ongoing, follow-up care—thus providing a continuity of care to enhance the patient's experience and improve outcomes. If a patient does not have a primary care physician, the Healthcare Clinic staff will offer to help the patient locate one within the Belton Regional Medical Center family.

These partnerships give our patients expanded options when the doctor is unable to see them for minor issues, especially after hours, weekends and holidays. The Healthcare Clinic will complement—never replace—the care provided by our primary care providers.
