Belton, MO — Belton Regional Medical Center — part of HCA Midwest Health, Kansas City’s leading and most comprehensive healthcare provider — announces that Tiffany K. Mason has been appointed Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Mason oversees the overall daily operations of the 71-bed acute care hospital and serves as an integral member of the administrative leadership team. Mason joined Belton Regional Medical Center earlier this month.

Most recently Mason served as vice president of operations and interim chief operating officer at Menorah Medical Center, also part of HCA Midwest Health. During her tenure, Mason was project lead for Menorah Medical Center’s much-anticipated Neuroscience and Orthopedic Center; played a role in bolstering employment engagement; collaborated in expansion projects, including an off-campus outpatient rehab clinic; and focused on continuing to elevate the hospital’s high-quality patient experience. Prior to her role at Menorah Medical Center, Mason was director of rehabilitation and sports medicine, multi-specialty clinic and sleep disorders center at Lee’s Summit Medical Center, also part of HCA Midwest Health. While there, she implemented a Friday Night Injury Clinic for Orthopedic & Sports Medicine by leading a multi-disciplinary group of orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians, athletic trainers and rehab professionals, among other accomplishments.

“Tiffany is a dynamic leader with the skills, innovative thinking, industry expertise and acumen necessary to help us continue advancing operational excellence in the ever-evolving healthcare landscape,” says Belton Regional Medical Center Chief Executive Officer Todd Krass. “She will be a valuable member of the Belton Regional Medical Center team as we continue our commitment to provide members of the communities we serve with compassionate care and a high-quality patient experience.’

“It is a privilege to join a team that is dedicated to excellence in patient care,” Mason says. “I look forward to helping Belton Regional Medical Center continue to meet the expanding needs of patients and families with high-quality, accessible healthcare close to home.”

Mason earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from William Jewell College. She holds a Master of Occupational Therapy from Rockhurst University and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University. Mason will graduate from the prestigious HCA Executive Development Program in November 2020.
